Granados Consulting created the brand concept, branding and package design in 2014 for the new Elizabeth Chambers Cellar winery in downtown McMinnville, Oregon. The winery has since become a rising star amoung the Willamette Valley's excellent Pinot Noir producers. This label's simple elegance combines the founder's name and the winery facade with a beautiful blue Morpho butterfly, selected to honour her mother.
Winery branding & label prior to 2012
The winery was previously known as Panther Creek, whose bold black and red label design expressed a fairly masculine flavour profile and brand identity. Liz Chambers was intent on asserting a new personality through both her wine style and her branding. Our strategic brief was not complicated: create a brand with feminine sensibilities that preserved the quality image expected of wines above $25 retail.
